Tax calculators for people who run a company
Four free tools that answer the questions company directors actually ask. Every one shows you the full working. None of them asks for your email address before it gives you the answer.
Corporation Tax calculator
Profit in, tax out, including marginal relief and what your effective rate really is.
Salary vs dividend
Which split of salary and dividends leaves you with the most out of a given company profit.
Director take-home
What actually reaches your bank account once income tax, dividend tax and NI have come out.
How much can I pay myself?
Start from the take-home you want and see what the company has to earn to fund it.
What these are, and what they are not
They are a way of seeing how the tax works on your own numbers, so that a conversation with your accountant starts further along. They are not tax advice, they are not a personal recommendation, and they cannot see the rest of your circumstances.
All four cover England, Wales and Northern Ireland for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 tax years. Scottish income tax rates are not included. The rates behind them are checked against GOV.UK and the date of the last check is shown on every page.
Who built them
Luvero Accounting, a small practice in Bawtry, South Yorkshire, working with owner-managed companies. We built these because we were answering the same four questions every week and it seemed more useful to put the answers somewhere everyone could get at them.
If you want to talk to a person about your own position, you will find us at luvero.uk.
